Watching yachts sailing away, I saw Melanie on the top noticing my men on the docks. She was wise girl and I was sure she is going to stay tough and patient.

It was 2 pm when we left our hotels being driven by taxies to the airport.

At 4.30 pm given permission enabled us to takeoff heading Crete Heraklion international airport.

 

 

 

Chapter VII

 

 

 

Flying about one hour we touched the ground in Crete going directly to Heraklion marina.

Finding hotel for us, my plan was to send few men to Reythmno and Gouves marina to wait for the yachts in case they are going to refuel the ships in one of marinas, inclusive Heraklion marina where I am going to stay with majority of agents.

 

Next morning after good breakfast I told them following … look guys, if they arrive you have to call me right away to send you spy recorder which is staying here, because I hope they are going to dock for few hours here in Heraklion marina, of course in case if they are coming at all. We will wait them until late afternoon when we are going to fly to Cyprus to Larnaca, renting some cars driving to Limassol next morning.

Having three agents forming each observing team, I told to the rest of the agents to relax and enjoy doing what they want, sending one man with spy glass to the most prominent position for observing eventual coming of the yachts.

It was later in the afternoon around 4 pm when my men from Reythmno marina were calling saying … we have them in front of marina JJ, what we suppose to do, we need spy recorder as soon as possible.

It will take maybe an hour to make the yachts moored.

Don t worry guys, we are moving right away coming with taxi as soon as possible.

Taking a taxi being followed by Jens I told to the driver to be quick giving him 50 Euros tip in advance and he was … in less than an hour we were in marina.

Preparing spy recorder, telling to Jens to try to find Melanie on one of the decks.

Becoming confirmation of having Melanie on the top deck I sent two agents to show up, wearing white beanie caps, just to show her we are there, telling them not to go too close.

Jens please, observe her reactions, try to discover if she is recognizing our presence.

 

I was concentrated trying to hear something, when Jens told me … JJ they are moving out I see some Arabs and two officers stepping the dock.

I am not surprised Jens, refueling the yachts will take a few hours they are going shopping or eating.

That s good man, continue with observing the girl, is she recognizing our men or not?

Let me see JJ, so far she is looking in their direction … right now she smiled making hidden move putting her dumb up, definitely she did notice our presence.

Ok. Jens, tell to the guys to come back going in another coffee bar, tell them not to come here.

Ok. JJ, but don t you think you are just too careful man?

Could be Jens, but a bit too much caution doesn t hurt, does it?

Meeting our agents inside the other coffee bar I told them to track Arabs staying separated on decent distance because of their security and I started together with Jens to track two officers who did separate them staying alone, taking place on beautiful terrace right above the water.

Jens and I took the place in the opposite terrace 20 meters aside of them, staying in a deep shadow, actually I was afraid of possibility they could remember my face from previous locations.

Hearing their conversation, I heard second officer talking openly about falling in love with Melanie, being advice by his superior to not to think too much about her because she will vanish somewhere on Middle East.

Captain continued telling … forget about her man, you have her close to you for next few days or maximum two weeks depends what is our latest destination. She is beautiful, but she is not intended to you, think better about our next route to Limassol, we have to be there in two days from now.

Telling to Jens to call back our colleagues we left the place wanting to have some food to enjoy, calling first our team in Gouves marina to return to Heraklion marina to meet all other agents.

I wanted to stay here as long as needed practically I wanted to see my hunt sailing out of marina.

 

Having an excellent lunch with Jens and three other agents in relaxing atmosphere we exchanged some good jokes laughing loudly, but never losing visual contact with yachts.

In one moment, after four hours of sitting in the restaurant I saw officers going slowly back to the yacht and it was a signal sailing out time is not too far.

Being already tired of sitting and waiting we saw Arabs coming and going in yacht direction.

It was already 11 pm, refilling the yachts with fuel did take a plenty of time, forcing them to leave as soon as possible.

Good fellows, let s go to Heraklion marina to meet the rest of the gang we suppose to have relaxed night in front of us going in some discotheque. Tomorrow we have nothing to do, just reach the Cyprus.

Heraklion was very lovely city with a lot of tourists already and plenty of interesting places to entertain you, staying out late night.

I let the guys interesting evening going outside all together, having fine dinner and drinking fine wines. After that, we have visited best discotheque staying there until 3 am, drinking and having fun … I was drinking my favorite Harvey Wallbanger as usual.

 

Tomorrow we left Crete flying to Cyprus, which takes us less than an hour, landing in Larnaca international airport at noon, having a lot of time in front of us, but I was aware I was having a hell of a job in front of me, organizing everything for tomorrow s final countdown in Limassol marina.

Renting four vehicles we drove us to Limassol marina taking immediately our rooms … I told to the guys to have 45 minutes to take a shower, meeting us on the back terrace of our hotel, telling Jens to meet me in half an hour, tacitly making him my deputy.

In half an hour I was discussing with Jens what to do, how to prepare us for tomorrow having our last chance to free Melanie.

When all agents were present I asked plane pilot about Melanie s passport, becoming an answer it is inside the aircraft … hearing this I send him to Larnaca to bring her passport immediately telling him … take your time, no need to hurry, just be back before dinner around 9 pm.

I told them to come out with me walking maybe fifty meters away from the hotel choosing one shady place with few benches to have a seat. Standing in the middle I started to explain what to do today to be ready for tomorrow.

 

Look fellows, we have no right to fail tomorrow, actually we need weapons we need two fastest boats and one small and cheap boat to attack the smaller yacht hitting the hull of the yacht with cheap boat, making them to concentrate on this when it happens.

First of all we have to wear our whit beanie caps as the sign of recognition for Melanie.

In the moment when small boat hit the target Melanie is going to jump into the water … this is the moment when we need two divers standing by covering both sides of the main yacht. When she is in the water you take her away giving her small bottle of oxygen with underwater snorkel and you remain under water, diving and swimming as fast as possible in direction of our fast boats, but do not dive too deep cause of the girl.

Fast boats will be about seventy meters away waiting for you and the girl with running engine, ready to sail away.

You climb the boat using side that is facing offing not the mainland, this is very important to avoid shooting and casualties. They are going to be fully surprised having eventually guns with them, leaving rifles somewhere in the bustle of the yachts not knowing what is going on, seeing no girl in the water.

Security will be a bit more relaxed and quite weak having quite many men leaving the ships, going probably to Nicosia with Sheiks.

Two of us will cover the main yacht having sniper rifles with optic and silencers, these two have to eliminate any treat having these bastards firing our divers and Melanie. Do not forget, the shooters have to stay hidden before the operation and you are using rubber munitions, which will be enough to eliminate them for next couple of minutes, having also real bullets framework ready if something goes wrong.
