You can find information about our cooperation models below if you are interested in selling eBooks on your website(s).

How does it work?

Ciando offers different cooperation models, ranging from the affiliate program and white label shops to the interface solution.

The white label shop model requires almost no technical work on your side. We provide you with and operate the complete shop system for you from offering the eBooks and download fulfilment to customer support and invoicing in your name. You have the choice between our standard-shop and our premium-shop. Have a look at our sample-shop (german; standard) here.
Examples of our white label shops include: Hogrefe Publishing, Hanser eBook-Shop, Jokers or the eBook-Shop of Conrad Electronic.

Our interface-solution is the right cooperation-model if you have your own shop-system. We provide you with the catalogue data you need to display the eBook-titles in your shop. Furthermore we store the eBooks on our server and deliver the links to download purchased eBooks or read them online. Customers are shopping on your website(s) and ciando delivers the downloads in the background.
Among the retailers using the ciando interface solution are: Lehmanns Media, Schweitzer Fachinformationen oder Thalia.de.

Your advantages

You receive a new forward-looking service for your customers without big changes on your websites - depending on the cooperation-model.

In the case of the white label shop we preserve your corporate identity by customizing the layout, e.g. adjusting of the colors of buttons. Customers browsing the white label shop will only slightly notice ciando as a service provider.

If you choose the interface-solution customers who are browsing on your websites will fulfill the purchase and download in your own shop-system. customers will not become aware of ciando as a service provider.

Storage costs or costs of distribution are not an issue. We provide technical support for you (B2B) or your customers (B2C).
