Full Text Search: Entends your Search to Every Word Written in the Book
A well-known problem for all of us - you look for a book on a certain subject on the internet and you actually find a title that sounds interesting judging from the title. Yet, you never know, whether the contents can really keep the promise of the title. For you cannot just look inside the eBook.
We have a solution in place: At ciando you can obtain detailed information about the eBook contents before purchasing it. On the one hand, we provide the possibility to look at the table of contents, read through an extact and have get a glimpse of some selceted pages of the eBook. On the other hand you can also search inside each eBook for term. All this is free of charge and freely accessible without being registered as a customer.
How does it work?
Finding an eBook in our shop that you are interested in, simply have a look at the eBook details (eg. by clicking on the eBook cover). In the lower part of that page you will find the chapter overview of the eBook in question and in the box on the right, beside the cover image there are the links to this eBook's short description, extract and its "Look Inside the eBook.

This box also offers the full text search. Simply enter your searchword and start searching the entire book contents by clicking on "go". Now you can see how many hits your searchword produced in every single chapter.

If you want to know exactly, whether this contains hits in the required context, click on the red numbers which indicate the hits within each chapter. This will show your searchword in combination with the surrounding text - displaying the exact wording. Now you know for sure, whether the eBook contents keeps the promise of its title.
