Marc has been actively working in the industry for the past 15 years, with a focus on data and systems integration projects in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. He has served as an architect and in lead roles in both the enterprise and ISV spaces, spanning financial services, the public sector, publishing, hospitality, and retail verticals. Over the course of his career, he has worked on projects that integrated the majority of operating systems (Windows,Unix, Linux, Qnix, DOS, IBM OS/390) and databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Sybase ASA). Marc has spoken at numerous conferences and is the co-author of the books Windows Communication Foundation: Hands On! and Windows Communication Foundation Unleashed! He has published numerous magazine articles on web services and mobile application development. He is also the author of two popular blogs, MarcMercuri.com and MashupGuy.com.
